Jack Stevens Bass

Hi folks! I'm Jack Stevens, an electric bass player from the UK.

I was born in 1981 in North London, and took up bass in my early teens. In 2002 I moved up to Liverpool to study a BA (Hons) in Music at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, and I was fortunate enough to start working regularly as a professional musician whilst there. I'm now living back in London.

Skills

In addition to being a solid bassist I play guitar, keyboards/keyboard bass, sing, programme, produce and rap. I can't cook to save my life, but I can bust a few moves on the dance floor. On a practical note, I read both lead sheets and notation. I even mime!!! (X-FACTOR 2007 acoustic guitar for Niki).
